General Return / Refund Policy
|||The return / refund policy of AGearNotebooks.com is based on the manufacturer's warranties. Only Sager Computer provide 30 Days refundable policy, which is based on Sager's Warranty; All the other name brand notebooks are not refundable. Before any return, a RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) number must be obtained from AGearNotebooks.com without any exception. The Return / Refund Policy of ASUS Ensemble Notebooks / ASUS EeePC Families (Please click the link as below: http://www.agearnotebooks.com/asus.html) is based on Asus's warranty, a RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION (RMA) number must be obtained from ASUS Computer International, Inc. directly without any exception.|
|||The returned product (including the service return product) must be received at our factory within seven (7) business days of the date that the RMA number is issued. All service return product received after the valid warranty period (base on their respective manufacturer's invoice date one year from the purchase date.) will be treated as out of warranty service.|
To receive a refund, the returned product must be
received at our factory within seven (7) business days of the date that the RMA
number is issued and within thirty (30) days from the purchase invoice date. If
your product is not received within thirty (30) days of your purchase date, then
you shall not be entitled to any refund.
When taking advantage of manufacturer's Umbrella Protection Policy,
we will issue a full refund by check for cash orders, or a full credit back on credit card orders.
However, please note the following exceptional conditions:
- The shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Shipping charges and expenses are not refundable and will be deducted from the final
- For free or discounted shipping promotions, shipping expenses to AGearNotebooks.com will
not be refunded. These amounts are as follows:
- Regular Ground Shipping Fee - Based on how much we charge customer
- Free UPS Ground $35
- 3-day air $55
- 2-day air $75
- Next day air $110
- The opened software will not be refundable. You do not need to open Operating System
software to register your notebook.
- Please be aware, if you open the software package, you own the software.
- Please be very careful when opening your software. Often times, the registration code is
located on the plastic packaging. Do not discard any packing materials. All original boxes
and packing material must be returned. Incomplete RMA's will be charged a 15% restocking
fee. Retain all shipping and packing invoices with your notebook to ensure proper warranty
- The costs arising from any damage or modifications not allowed under warranty will be
deducted from the refund amount.
- Due to customized laptop special purchased parts and components (like CPU/memory/HDD, Extended warranty and etc.), if customer change his mind to cancel his order after customer email to us or phone call to confirm his order to agree to begin to customize and build his unique customized laptop, AGearNotebooks.com will charge 15% restocking fee and will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Some special order systems (such as PAL TV tuners in the case of the 8890 series) are assessed a 15% restocking fee. All other fees will be refunded provided the system is returned in the original packaging with all accessories and manual along with no damage to the unit.
AGearNotebooks.com has the right to refuse any return that
- has an expired RMA number.
- shows physical damage to the product or its packaging.
|||The returned product must be clearly marked with the RMA Number on the label and should be shipped in the original packaging, prepaid and insured by you in order to prevent damage during shipping. Products returned without first obtaining an RMA number shall be rejected and returned to you at your expense. If shipping costs are not paid and the system is returned to AGearNotebooks.com, then you shall be charged a storage rate in the amount of $5.00 per day of storage.|
|||The Products returned not purchased from AGearNotebooks.com, shall be rejected and returned to you at your expense. If shipping costs are not paid and the system is returned to AGearNotebooks.com, then you shall be charged a storage rate in the amount of $10.00 per day of storage. AGearNotebooks.com will not be responsible for the condition of such returned package.|
|||Before any return, back up any data on the hard disk before you return the system. AGearNotebooks.com will not be responsible for any loss of data on the hard disk drive.|
|||When returning the system to the manufacturer, you must send it freight prepaid and insured. AGearNotebooks.com will not be responsible for any damages in shipment.|
|||If AGearNotebooks.com determines that the failure of the return system was not the result of defect in parts or workmanship, AGearNotebooks.com reserves the right to charge you for parts and labor at the labor rate of $80.00 AGearNotebooks.com will advise you prior to these charges.|
|||Upon service performed, AGearNotebooks.com will ship the product back to you by UPS Ground delivery unless you have requested for the optional Express delivery service. AGearNotebooks.com will not be responsible for delays caused by delivery services.|
Out of Warranty Service Policy
|||Initial $45.00 estimate fee will be charged for all the out of warranty service returned. AGearNotebooks.com will advise you the repair cost prior to perform the service.|
|||Minimum ten (10) business days will be required for diagnosis the out of warranty returned. For faster repair service, three (3) days express service option is available for additional $45.00. Check here if you wish to have an express service.|
|||Customer will be responsible for the freight prepaid and insured in both way when send in the product to AGearNotebooks.com and return the product to you.|
DOA (Dead on Arrival/Defective on Arrival) Policy
|||Any defective product purchased within 7 days from the original invoice date will be considered DOA. Only Sager Computer provide 10 days DOA refundable policy.|
|||No replacement or exchange if the returned merchandise has been tested and found that it meets manufacturer's specifications.|
|||Customer must call AGearNotebooks.com immediately to get an RMA number for return. The manufacturers reserve the right to inspect and test all DOA merchandise.|

|||If a DOA refund is requested, return shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer. However, if a replacement is requested, AGearNotebooks.com will pay all return shipping expenses.|
